Cast of The 1 Minute Play Festival
I had a great time reading the part of a Russian cat (more dialect work!) at a table read of a new show with music by composer/actor/trans rights activist and occasional Huffington Post contributor Dana Aliya Levinson and composer/music director extraordinaire Joshua Zecher-Ross.
Then Drama League Fellow Candis C. Jones (Assistant Director, Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World AKA The Negro Book of the Dead; O/B) directed me in several short plays as part of America Is..., a politically-charged theatre festival at the New Ohio Theatre (home again!). It was fun playing a misogynist villain for a (ha!) change. :P
