This month, I had the amazing opportunity to play LGBTQ+ martyr/STEM badass Alan Turing in a presentation of Brandon Michael Lowden's new musical, The Turing Test, at Musical Theatre Factory's latest 4x15 workshop. Well, OK. An android facsimile of Alan Turing...which might actually have even been cooler! Props to my fellow Pittsburgher, Brandon, for doing fresh, original work!
Then Drama League Fellow Candis C. Jones (Assistant Director, Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World AKA The Negro Book of the Dead; O/B) reached out to have me read for a few plays in an upcoming women's politics theatre festival. We'll be performing March 5th, 7th and 8th at the New Ohio Theatre (Woohoo!).
